Workmanship, professionalism, and courtesy were off the charts. But, I find the price for services to be EXTREMELY high and in the past they used to waive the diagnostic fees and only charge you for parts and labor if you agreed to continue with repairs.
I brought my truck in to get a number of things checked out. I was not disappointed with how thorough of a diagnostic they completed. I was only aware of maybe two problems when I came in, but they had suggestions on maybe 4-5 issues. One of those issues I had already knew about was replacing the u-joints, which is not a trivial task as it requires time and effort, but ultimately not a difficult operation.
However, to ask for $600 (similar to the cost of u-joint replacement) to replace a mass air flow sensor (a task that takes 10 minutes to complete with a $90 brand new part) is outrageous. So I took that service suggestion and did it myself like I do for most of my maintenance.
