Security: Worried that you left your Gretna garage door open? Anxious about the lights and security system in your home? Homelink can be programmed to tell you the status of your garage door, lights, and security system.
Powered by Your Chevy: Chevy Homelink uses your car as a remote, so you don’t have to worry about suddenly needing batteries to operate your garage door.
Easy to Use: Although Homelink has tons of features, it doesn’t take a tech wizard to set up the system.

With Homelink and additional technology like Chevrolet Connected services, a Chevy vehicle offers Marrero drivers connectivity and information from the comfort of their drivers seat.

What Is Homelink? Programming Homelink

Don’t be intimidated by all these bells and whistles; connecting to Homelink requires pressing just a few buttons. Let’s check it out:

Master Reset: You’ll see three buttons on the ceiling of your Chevrolet vehicle. Press and hold the first and third button for around 20 seconds, until your interior lights begin to flash.
Program a Button: Now that you’ve reset, take out your garage door opener. Press and hold one button while also pressing down on your garage door opener. Your lights will flash rapidly when this button is programmed.
Learning: Press “learn” on your Westbank garage door console. Now go back into your vehicle and hold your selected button. When the lights on your garage flash, you know you’ve programmed your button.
